-2008 “Coast The Coast” ride for MS.

Team Barnegat’s first year in our ride for MS was a complete success! The weather was fantastic & the ride was beautiful. We had 24 members on our team & raised over $5400.00 in donations!

 Many thanks to all who donated, especially NJ Local 296 PBA, Southern Ocean Marine Sportswear, The Van Dyk Group, The Rose Garden Florist, Riptide Physical Therapy & W.B. Grant Agency.

-2008 Traffic Free ride for MS in NYC!!

The ride in New York was pretty good.  Unfortunately, I was unprepared for the rain that surprised us as we entered the city and continued well into the ride.  In any case, it was awesome to ride the streets of NYC without any traffic to compete with the bike traffic.  I would suggest everyone pack rain gear in their cars just in case for every ride.  It was a chilly ride, but I’d do it again in a hearbeat!!
